Son of Samuel Golladay and Delilah McInturff of Shenandoah County


 

John enlisted on 05 Apr 1862, but he was absent later that month as a result of illness. He died of typhoid fever on 29 May 1862 in a hospital in Staunton, VA. John is buried in Thornrose Cemetery in Staunton.
