Benjamin Franklin Golladay
son of Isaac Golladay and Elizabeth Ann Clem

Benjamin was born in 1845. So he would have been old enough to fight in the Civil War. However, he apparently had a trade skill of cutting wood at saw mills that provided needed material  for the Confederate government. So he never enlisted. He was not married until many years after the war.

At one point, he was assigned by the Confederate militia to a work detail to cut wood at Caroline Furnace.

Buried at : Clem-Golladay Cemetery, St. David's Church in Shenandoah County, Virginia
