Edward Golladay

Edward was 23 years old when he enlisted on 30 October 1863 at Clarksville, Tennessee. His height was listed as 5' 6" and he was born in Logan County, Kentucky. Edward fought in the battle of Nashville on 16 December 1864.

In the 1870 U.S. census, a black farmer named Eddie Golladay was listed in Jacob Shall Golladay's household in in Logan County, Kentucky. This may have been Edward, but further research is needed to verify this.

Edward's widow Ellen filed an application for a U.S. pension on 20 March 1891 based on his military service.
