Son of Adam Weaver Golladay and Elizabeth Fulwider

 

William was 6' 1" in height with light complexion, light red hair, and blue eyes.

William was not married when he enlisted on 07 Jun 1861 at Terra Haute, Indiana.

On 29 Oct 1862, William was given a medical discharge at Harper's Ferry, West Virginia for disability because of chronic diarrhea, as well as kidney and liver disease.

William married Mary Elizabeth Driscoll on 16 Jul 1864 in Boone County, Indiana. After her death, William was remarried to Sarah Elizabeth Bates Spangle on 03 Jul 1889.

On 09 May 1881, he filed for an Invalid Pension and was living in Illinois. He was 62 years old when died on 24 Sep 1903 in Athens.
